Expanding on the Child of Ala Series: Ozara. Ozara Dance is the retelling of that story in a party setting. Bringing the performance to life within the night life space. Inspired by Afro-beats parties & Nigerian folk festivals the event brings these traditions (modified by myself) to a wider audience.

This project was inspired by new found appreciation of parties, in particular afro-beats day parties in my local area and the space that created for myself to be able to enjoy myself in a party like setting without being seen as an “other”. 

Marketing - I used Instagram and direct messaging as my main point of promotion
